Dr. Alaa Radwan – Egypt
Uveitis, Ocular Immunology, and Medical Retina

MD , FRCS Glasgow.
He is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Uveitis, Ocular Immunology, and Medical Retina. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Sohag University, Egypt, and received advanced subspecialty training in uveitis and inflammatory eye diseases at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution, Boston, USA.
Dr. Radwan is the Secretary of Egyptian Uveitis Study Group . He has also established specialized uveitis services at leading ophthalmic centers in Egypt and has served as a visiting consultant in tertiary hospitals in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
An active educator and researcher, Dr. Radwan has been involved in training ophthalmologists through regular educational courses and scientific meetings organized by the Egyptian Ophthalmological Society and other professional organizations. He has authored and presented numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers at regional and international conferences, with research interests centered on the clinical management, epidemiology, and immunology of uveitis and medical retinal diseases.

Dr. Anant Pai is a Senior Consultant in Ophthalmology and Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar. He holds MBBS, MD, DNB, FRCSEd, and FRCS (Glasg) qualifications. His clinical interests focus on vitreo-retinal surgery and medical retina, with extensive experience in the management of complex retinal diseases.

Dr. Ameen Alkhateeb is a specialist ophthalmologist with expertise in vitreoretinal surgery. He graduated from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed his ophthalmology residency training at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He subsequently completed advanced training in vitreoretinal surgery.

Since 2023, Dr. Alkhateeb has established the Vitreoretinal Service at Al Wakra Hospital, providing specialized medical and surgical care for patients with retinal diseases.

He holds the Arab Board Certification in Ophthalmology and the designation of Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in ophthalmology, with special interests in vitreoretinal surgery, retinal diseases, and clinical research.

Dr. Mohamed Salim is a highly experienced ophthalmologist with over 20 years of clinical practice and more than 17 years of specialized expertise in retinal diseases. He holds an MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology, along with DNB and MNAMS qualifications from India.

His advanced international credentials include FRCS (Glasgow), MRCS (Glasgow and Edinburgh), FICO (UK), FICS (USA), and FACS (USA). Dr. Mohamed has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex retinal conditions and is recognized for his commitment to clinical excellence and continuous professional development.

Dr. Zakia Al-Ansari is the head of the Glaucoma Unit and a Senior Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar.

She completed her Arab Board specialty training in ophthalmology, with subspecialty experience in glaucoma management at HMC. She serves as Assistant Fellowship Program Director and is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education. She is a member and examiner with the Qatari Board of Medical Specialties (QBMS).

Dr. Nabila Al-Tamimi

Uveitis, Ocular Immunology

Dr. Nabila Al-Tamimi, PhD, FEAOO, is a leading expert in optometry, specializing in pediatric optometry, binocular vision, low vision rehabilitation, and advanced contact lens management across all age groups. She serves as Senior Clinical Scientist and Head of Optometry at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar, where she is dedicated to advancing standards of care for complex visual conditions. She also serves as a Peer Reviewer.

In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Al-Tamimi is a Clinical Affiliate at Qatar University’s College of Medicine, actively contributing to education, training, and research. She has presented her work at international conferences including EAOO, AAO, and ARVO, and holds memberships in EAOO, AAO, ARVO, IACLE, and EMCO.

Dr. Samir Shoughy

He is a distinguished ophthalmologist specializing in uveitis, ocular immunology, and inflammatory eye diseases. He graduated from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology training in Egypt before pursuing an internationally recognized career in clinical practice, research, and education. Dr. Shoughy is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the fields of uveitis, retinal diseases, ocular imaging, and ocular inflammation. Dr. Shehab Al-Abed

Medical Retina – Uveitis

He is a Medical Retina and Uveitis Consultant and Ophthalmic Surgeon with the Jordanian Royal Medical Services. He completed a prestigious fellowship in Medical Retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, one of the world’s leading ophthalmic institutions. Dr. Al-Abed holds the Jordanian Board in Ophthalmology, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS, Glasgow), Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd), and Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). His clinical expertise focuses on medical retina, uveitis, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, and inherited retinal disorders. Prof. Piergiorgio Neri

Ocular Immunology – Uveitis

He is a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, USA, and Director of the Uveitis Service at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. An internationally recognized authority in ocular immunology and uveitis, he graduated with honors from the University of Ancona Medical School and earned a PhD in Neuroscience with a focus on ocular inflammation. Prof. Neri has authored more than 190 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and serves as Editor-in-Chief of International Ophthalmology. His clinical and research interests include uveitis, ocular immunology, retinal diseases, autoimmune disorders, and translational medicine. Through his academic leadership, research contributions, and commitment to medical education, he has played a significant role in advancing the understanding and management of inflammatory eye diseases worldwide.

Dr. Naila Al-Harthi

Uveitis – Ocular Inflammatory Diseases

She is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist with extensive experience in comprehensive ophthalmic care, medical education, and clinical leadership. She has served as Program Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Program under the Oman Medical Specialty Board, contributing significantly to the training and development of future ophthalmologists in Oman. Dr. Naila has been actively involved in ophthalmic research and academic activities and has authored publications in the field of eye health. Dr. Manal Bouhaimed

She is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and faculty member at Kuwait University. Dr. Manal is the President of the Women in Ophthalmology (WIO) Society within the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO). She is Chairperson of the MEACO Ethics Committee and a member of the Advisory Board of the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO). She was a member (2019–2011) and Vice-Chair (2016–2015) of UNESCO’s International Bioethics Committee (IBC).

Dr. Manal is a recognized expert in ophthalmology, bioethics, medical education, and healthcare leadership. She has contributed to environmental and human rights initiatives through national committees in Kuwait. As a member of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, she was the first female physician from Kuwait to participate in humanitarian missions in conflict areas. She has been involved in national committees related to organ donation, research ethics, and institutional review. She founded the Medical Education and Leadership Club at Kuwait University’s Health Sciences Center. Her work has made a significant impact on healthcare, ethics, women’s leadership, and humanitarian service at regional and international levels.

Dr. Hessah Al Rabiah

Dr. Hessah Al Rabiah is head of the Ophthalmology Department at Adan Hospital, Kuwait, and Consultant Ophthalmologist specialized in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. Member of the Kuwait Ophthalmic Society, and Postgraduate Committee member and tutor at the Kuwait Ophthalmology Board.

Holds fellowships in Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery from Vissum Alicante, Spain, and the International Council of Ophthalmology (UK), and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr. Sana Khochtali

Dr. Sana Khochtali is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Monastir in Tunisia.

Dr. Sana Khochtali studied in the Faculty of Medicine of Sousse, Tunisia. She received residency training in Ophthalmology in Tunisia and Bordeaux, France from 2005 to 2009. In may 2011, she was enrolled in the Department of Ophthalmology Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital, Monastir, Tunisia, which is a referral center for Uveitis. She has now more than 12 years of experience in the field of Ocular Inflammation.

She contributed to more than 60 pubmed-indexed publications, most of them are dealing with uveitis and to several book chapters. She has also actively participated to different international meetings with a number of lectures, free papers and posters. She has been a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.

She is a member of the International Uveitis Study Group (IUSG). She a Reviewing Editor for the Journal “Ocular Immunology and Inflammation

Prof. Quan Dong Nguyen

Prof. Quan Dong Nguyen, MD, MSc, FAAO, FARVO, FASRS, is an Ophthalmologist at the Byers Eye Institute and Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine (Immunology and Rheumatology) at Stanford University School of Medicine. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, he immigrated to the United States in 1980.

Dr. Nguyen earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Yale University and his MD from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his medical training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, and Schepens Eye Research Institute, with advanced fellowships in uveitis, ocular immunology, and medical and surgical retina.

He previously held leadership roles at Johns Hopkins University and served as Chair of Ophthalmology and Inaugural Director of the Stanley M. Truhlsen Eye Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Nguyen is a principal investigator in numerous landmark clinical trials in retinal vascular, uveitic, and inflammatory eye diseases and has played a key role in early trials leading to FDA approval of major anti-VEGF therapies.

Dr. Nguyen has authored over 500 scientific publications and is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of American Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports. He is also a founder of the Society for Artificial Intelligence in Vision and Ophthalmology (SAIVO) and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Artificial Intelligence in Vision and Ophthalmology. He currently serves as President of the International Ocular Inflammation Society (2027–2023). At Stanford, Dr. Nguyen maintains an active clinical practice in uveitis and retina, leads translational research, and trains fellows and physicians from around the world.

Dr. Anoud AlSaati

Dr. Anoud AlSaati is a senior consultant ophthalmologist and cornea specialist, currently serving as Head of the Ophthalmology Department at SMC 2, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She previously led the Anterior Segment and Cornea Division at Prince Sultan Military Medical City, where she established the Cornea Fellowship Program.

She is Saudi Board–certified, FRCS (Glasgow), and ICO qualified, with advanced training in anterior segment, refractive surgery, and uveitis. Her main interests include keratoplasty, multifocal intraocular lenses, dry eye disease, and ocular surface disorders.

Dr. AlSaati has received multiple national teaching and academic awards and is an active speaker at major regional and international ophthalmology conferences. She is widely recognized for managing complex surgical cases and contributing to clinical research and education.

Dr. Abdulrahman AlBloushi

Dr. AlBloushi is the current president of the Saudi Ophthalmology Society. He is an associate professor and consultant at the Department of Ophthalmology, College of Medicine, King Saud University. He holds a Saudi board and a King Saud University fellowship in ophthalmology. He graduated from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK.

He did his medical retina and uveitis fellowship at the Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, UK. His current practice focuses on treating medical retinal disorders, uveitis and complex cataract surgery. Dr. AlBloushi is a speaker at many local and international meetings and has published several book chapters and more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Abdul Aziz Badla

Dr. Abdul Aziz Badla is a senior consultant ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon with more than three decades of clinical and surgical experience. He obtained his medical degree from Aleppo University and completed his postgraduate training in ophthalmology in Damascus, followed by advanced vitreoretinal fellowship training at El-Maghraby Eye Hospital in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Badla has held several leadership roles, including Head of the Vitreoretinal Department and President of the Ophthalmology Department at Saudi-German Hospital in Dubai. He is currently serving as the President of the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO) and has previously been President of the Syrian Ophthalmological Society.List.

Dr. Moncef Khairallah

Dr. Moncef Khairallah is a Professor of Ophthalmology and has led, over 25 years, a multidisciplinary team specializing in the management of uveitis and retinal diseases at Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital in Monastir, Tunisia. He is a frequent invited speaker at national and international scientific meetings and has played an active role in organizing numerous congresses and symposia in the fields of uveitis and retina, both in Tunisia and internationally.

Professor Khairallah is a member of several prestigious international scientific societies, including the Jules Gonin Club, the International Uveitis Study Group, the Vision Loss Expert Group of the Global Burden of Disease Study, the Club Francophone des Spécialistes de la Rétine, the EURETINA Uveitis Subcommittee, the International Council of the International Ocular Inflammation Society, and the Global Ocular Inflammation Workshops Society. He currently serves as President of the Middle East African Uveitis Society.

He is also a member of the editorial board and serves as Associate Editor for several international ophthalmology journals. Professor Khairallah has published more than 260 peer-reviewed articles, co-edited six books on uveitis and ocular infections, and authored approximately 100 book chapters.

His numerous honors include the Achievement Award (2005) and Senior Achievement Award (2019) from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Gold Medal of the Moroccan Society of Ophthalmology (2016), and the Gold Medal of the Tunisian Society of Ophthalmology (2018). He has been ranked among the world’s top 2% of scientists in 2024 ,2023, and 2025 according to Stanford University’s Scientists List.

Prof. Mazen Sinjab

Prof. Mazen Sinjab, MD, MSc, ABOphth, PhD, FRCOphth (London), CertLRS (London), FRCSEd

Prof. Mazen Sinjab is Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital, Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), Dubai, UAE. He is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specializing in Cornea, Anterior Segment, and Refractive Surgery.

He is the Founder and President of Sinjab Academic Consultancy FZE and the Chief Co-Founder and Honorary General Secretary of the International Keratoconus Society. Prof. Sinjab also serves as President of the MEACO Cataract and Refractive Surgery Society (MEACRS) and is a Board Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd) and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth), London.

Dr. Jia-Horung Hung

Dr. Jia-Horung Hung is an ophthalmologist and physician-scientist specializing in uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases. He is a faculty member at the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University, where he is involved in clinical care, research, and education.

Dr. Hung received his MD and PhD from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, and completed residency and subspecialty training in retina, glaucoma, and uveitis at leading medical centers in Taiwan. He pursued advanced fellowship training in uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases at Stanford University from 2023 to 2025.

His research focuses on ocular inflammation, retinal diseases, photodynamic therapy, and data-driven ophthalmology. He has published in leading peer-reviewed journals and serves as Associate Editor of Graefe’s Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology. Dr. Hung is an active member of several international ophthalmic societies and a founding member of the Taiwan Ocular Inflammation Society and the Society for AI in Vision and Ophthalmology

Dr. Imen Ksiaa

Dr. Imen Ksiaa graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Monastir in Tunisia. She received residency training in Ophthalmology in Tunisia between 2011 and 2016 in the Departments of Ophthalmology at Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital in Monastir, Tunisia, and Tahar Sfar University Hospital in Mahdia, Tunisia. She joined as an Assistant Professor the Department of Ophthalmology at Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital, Monastir, Tunisia.

She initially learned how to provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans for patients with uveitis and retinal diseases. Subsequently, she has now more than 10 years of experience in the field of ocular inflammation and medical and surgical retina. She was promoted to Associate Professor of Ophthalmology in 2021. She serves as a mentor for medical students and residents in Ophthalmology. She is the General Secretary of the Tunisian Association of Ophthalmologists of the Center and a member of the Association for the promotion of Ophthalmology in Monastir. She has supervised fifteen medical doctoral theses at the Faculty of Medicine of Monastir.

Dr. Ksiaa contributed to over 60 publications. Most of the publications deal with uveitis and retina. She also has contributed to many book chapters. She serves as a scientific reviewer for many international Ophthalmology journals. She has more than 600 citations. She has actively participated in a wide range of international meetings and courses, presenting lectures, free papers and posters.

Prof. Hassan Al- Dhibi

Dr. Hessah Al Rabiah is head of the Ophthalmology Department at Adan Hospital, Kuwait, and Consultant Ophthalmologist specialized in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. Member of the Kuwait Ophthalmic Society, and Postgraduate Committee member and tutor at the Kuwait Ophthalmology Board.

Prof. Hassan A. AL-Dhibi

Prof. Hassan A. AL-Dhibi is a Senior Academic Consultant at the King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) and Adjunct Professor – College of Medicine AL Faisal University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Eligibility and Outreach Department Director, chief of the Uveitis Division, and a member of the Vitreoretinal Disease and Surgery Division.

Prof. AL-Dhibi is a former member of Saudi Ophthalmology Scientific Board of SCFHS and Saudi Ophthalmology Society. Dr. AL-Dhibi is the elected president of Saudi Retina Group & Saudi Uveitis Group.

He is also a member of the Middle East African Congress of Ophthalmology (MEACO) Board, Vice President of Middle East African Congress of Ophthalmology (MEACO) for GCC and former Editor-in-Chief Middle East African Journal of Ophthalmology (MEAJO). Dr. Al-Dhibi’s clinical research focuses on uveitis and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. AL-Dhibi has authored more than 130 scientific publications and has given more than 263 presentations in different national and international ophthalmology meetings.

Dr. Dina Baddar

Dr. Dina Baddar, MD, PhD, FRCS (Glasgow)

Dr. Baddar is a medical retina and uveitis consultant from Cairo Egypt. She is also a keen clinical researcher at the Research Institute of Ophthalmology in Giza. With over15 years of experience in retinal imaging, ocular inflammation, vascular diseases, macular pathology, and immune-mediated ocular inflammation, she has become a national and regional expert.

She is an appointed examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (RCSPG), an elected Board Member of the Egyptian Vitreoretinal Society (EGVRS) and a cofounder of the Middle East and Africa Council of Ophthalmology Uveitis Society (MEACOUs). She continues to serve with passion and excellence in the Egyptian academic, private, and public healthcare sectors.

Prof. Bahram Bodaghi

Prof. Bahram Bodaghi, MD, PHD, FEBO, is a Professor of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at Sorbonne University in Paris, France. He currently chairs the Medical Council of APHP-Sorbonne University Hospitals. He is a board member of EU retina. Dr. Bodaghi is a member of numerous national and international organizations. He served as Secretary General of the European Association for Vision and Eye Research from 12-2008 and member of the ARVO annual program committee (15-2013). He was an International Board member of the BCSC (Intraocular Inflammation and Uveitis section) for the American Academy of Ophthalmology from 11-2005 and the Secretary General of the French Society of Ophthalmology (23-2020). He has served as President of the French University Council of Ophthalmology from 2013 to 2021 and President of the International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS) from 2015 to 2023. He is a corresponding member of the French National Academy of Medicine and a tenured member of the French Academy of Surgery.

Dr. Bodaghi has published more than 450 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 30 textbook chapters. He serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious journals and is a member of major vision research and clinical ophthalmology societies. He has given more than 150 invited lectures around the world.

Dr. Bodaghi was the first ophthalmologist to win the Oudin Award of the French Society of Immunology. He also obtained the Senior Achievement award of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Uveitis Study Group Prize and the IOIS Gold Medal. During the last decade, he mainly focused his efforts on the understanding of infectious agents associated with different forms of intraocular inflammation and new therapeutic strategies in autoimmune uveitis.

Dr. Basem Awadh

Dr. Basem Awadh is currently a senior consultant and an associate program director in the department of Rheumatology at Hamad Medical Center.

Dr. Basem earned his MD degree from Damascus University then completed his training in the US. He first did his internal medicine training at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine then his rheumatology fellowship training at University of Kansas Medical Center . Dr. Basem started his career at the University of Kansas Medical Center and worked there as an assistant professor for several years. He is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

Dr. Basem has special interests in education and he is currently involved in the rheumatology fellowship training program at Hamad Medical Corporation

Dr. Diyaa Rachdan

Dr. Diyaa Rachdan is the Division Chief of Ophthalmology at Sidra Medicine, Doha, Qatar He is a Senior Attending Physician Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Corneal Surgeon.

He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Medicine, Qatar University And an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar He has a wide clinical experience complemented with dual Subspecialty Fellowship Training in: Pediatric Ophthalmology: (The Hospital for Sick Children, “Sick Kids”, Toronto, Canada) Cornea and Anterior Segments: (Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre, Birmingham, United Kingdom).

He gained six clinical and research degrees in ophthalmology including a Master Degree from the University of Oxford, UK and the fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, UK He also won several prizes, a memorial medal, and scholarship in Ophthalmology Before joining Sidra Medicine in 2018 he worked as a Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Corneal Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospitals, Nottingham, UK where he provided eye care for both children and adults. He also served as College Tutor for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, UK.

Dr. Hanan Furjani

Dr. Hanan Furjani, MD, is a senior consultant of ophthalmolog at the German Board of Ophthalmology GBO , FEBO , Fellow Plastic , Fellow Uveitis ,Anterior segment ; Cataract ,Glaucoma, Refractive, and Artificial Iris Implantation .

Over 25 years of expertise in Ophthalmology and deep commitment to clinical excellence , she held prominent leaderships position over 13 years under the mentorship of world-renowned ophthalmolmic pioneer Prof.H. Dr. Nabila Al-Tamimi, PhD, FEAOO, is a leading expert in optometry, specializing in pediatric optometry, binocular vision, low vision rehabilitation, and advanced contact lens management across all age groups. Prof. Sonia Attia

Prof. Sonia Attia is a Professor of Ophthalmology with over 25 years of clinical experience and more than two decades of specialization in uveitis. She completed her ophthalmology training in Tunisia and Geneva, Switzerland, and obtained the Tunisian Board Certification in Ophthalmology in 2000.

She joined the Department of Ophthalmology at Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of Monastir, Tunisia, in 2004, where she was actively involved in the care of patients with uveitis under the mentorship of Professor Moncef Khairallah, an internationally recognized expert in uveitis. She was promoted to Professor of Ophthalmology in 2018.

Professor Sonia Attia has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and over 10 book chapters, mainly in the field of uveitis. Her work has an H-index of 21 with more than 1,200 citations. She serves as a reviewer for several international ophthalmology journals and received the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award in 2011.

Since 2022, she has been working at the Uveitis Clinic of Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, where she contributes to the development of high-quality uveitis care. She is actively involved in education, research, and awareness initiatives supporting World Uveitis Day

Dr. Zamzam Al-Baker

Dr. Zamzam Al-Baker, MD., is a senior consultant ophthalmologist and head of uveitis unit at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Qatar , head ophthalmology department Al-Wakrah hospital . She is a Vice president of the Qatar ophthalmology society and a leader of “Qatar Uveitis Care for All “. She was nominated General Secretary MEACO Uveitis Society on June , 2024 .

She has 25 years experience in ophthalmology and 18 years in uveitis field . She received her Arab Board Ophthalmology Certificate in 2002 . On 2006 she did the uveitis fellow ship at McGill university in Montreal . From that time she worked to implement a high standard uveitis care service at HMC for Qatar population. She is the first author for “The clinical Pattern of uveitis in Qatar “ published August – 2016.

She had several publications and international conference participations . Recently she founded the World Uveitis day global initiative with support of international uveitis experts , with co-founder ship of SOS , and leadership of IOIS .

Prof. Vishali Gupta

Prof. Vishali Gupta is an accomplished Vitreo-Retina and Uvea expert of international repute working at PGIMER Chandigarh-India and is chairing the only Mch. training program in Vitreoretinal Surgery at PGI Chandigarh that offers three years dedicated training. She is president of International Uveitis Study Group and president of Vitreo Retina Society of India and past president of Uveitis Society of India. She is only Indian to be member of Club Jules Gonin and first Indian to be member of The Macula Society and the current Program Chair for Retina for ARVO.

Dr. Anas Dalloul

Dr. Anas Dalloul is a graduate of Al-Quds University, Palestine. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency, followed by a Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Fellowship at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar. He is currently working as a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at HMC.

Dr. Rawan Saleh

Dr. Rawan Sheikh Saleh is a Rheumatology Specialist in the Rheumatology Division at Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University, Syria, and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship training at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. Dr. Fatima Kassem

Dr. Fatima Kassem obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, in 2007. Dr. Halla Elgadi

Dr. Halla Mohamed Salih Elgadi is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Primary Health Care Corporation in Qatar, with over twenty years of clinical and academic experience in ophthalmic medicine. She earned her Clinical MD in Ophthalmic Medicine and Surgery with distinction from the University of Khartoum.

She subsequently certified by the International Council of Ophthalmology in both Basic and Clinical Sciences, further strengthening my academic foundation in the discipline. At PHCC, she serve as clinical lead for ophthalmology services, contributing extensively to PHCC policies and guideline development, AI enabled screening initiatives, and system wide service optimization.

She is actively engaged in medical education, CPD delivery, and training of ophthalmologists and optometrists as well as family physicians in PHCC. Currently she is pursuing a master’s degree in medical education with the University of Warwick. Her academic interests include community eye health enhancement, evidence based practice, and improving ophthalmic care pathways in primary healthcare settings.
